ESSENTIAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review of project plans, specifications and project documentation
- Takeoff and scope review
- Produce effective, timely and accurate submittals
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding sub-quotes, insurance, qualifications
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor / supplier quotes
- Estimate Heavy Civil work scopes
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Manage project information regarding safety, production and costs
- Leadership in a safe and professional work environment
- Familiarity of Colorado / Texas DOT municipalities requirements
EDUCATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
- HCSS HeavyBid, HCSS HeavyJob
- Microsoft Project
- Agtek, Carlson, Autodesk
- Bluebeam
- Previous construction experience: Dams / Reservoirs, Heavy Civil Infrastructure, Highway, Earthwork
- Microsoft Office
- Standard construction and business practices
