JOB SUMMARY

  • Heavy Civil Construction – Estimator / Project Engineer
  • Location – Colorado Springs, CO
  • Industry – Heavy Civil Infrastructure
  • Job Type – Full Time
  • Required Experience – Entry
  • Preferred Experience – 2+ Years

 

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of tasks and be exceptionally well organized, computer literate, and flexible. Must be able to work under minimal supervision, able to follow specific direction, work well as a team member and be resourceful while maintaining efficiency. This fast-paced position requires someone who can multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. We are looking for a candidate who will take pride in their work and who will conduct themselves in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Heavy / Civil Construction Experience
  • Proficiency regarding estimating software and strategies
  • Understand standard Construction and Business Practices
  • Experience working with Subcontractors and Material Suppliers
  • Understand Construction Safety Standards
  • Develop and maintain client relationships

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
  • Experience using HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob preferred – not required
  • Ability to read and understand project specifications and requirements
  • Ability support the project team with consistent and accurate information
  • Familiar with multi-state operations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Works well as a team member
  • Possess situational awareness
  • Positive and safe work history
  • Ability to pass work history verification
  • Requires good or corrected vision and hearing within normal range
  • Ability to pass and maintain pre-employment and random drug screenings
